Mr. Happy Toe
With A7 since it's inception, Mr. Happy Toe set the course for all acts that
followed. Jerry MacDonald and Andy Lantz create crunchy (as in big guitars,
not earthy) pop songs set to non-traditional time signatures. Melody,
harmony, and cacaphony become one on their debut cd I'm a Big Shot. This
mini-hit was followed up after a 2-year hiatus with their acclaimed Kiss the
Orange Line Goodnight LP. Although they are currently enjoying another
break, don't put it past the boys to drop a new one, perhaps when you least
suspect it!
